Concept - Technology - Structure - Functionality
The FoodCoin Ecosystem concept represents an easily scalable feature-rich platform that complements services provided by the traditional financial, legal, insurance and logistical institutions, and expands and enhances their capabilities, providing ways for additional cooperation between the platform and traditional businesses.
FoodCoin Ecosystem will provide a peer-to-peer network of associated nodes based on Ethereum blockchain. Each node stores a complete copy of the FoodCoin blockchain. These nodes are provided in the architecture of a private, as well as an open blockchain structure to maximize the protection against unauthorized modification of data.
The FoodCoin project will include creation of several base functions, such as smart contract initiation, payment processing, digital ID support and others, necessary to conduct efficient and inexpensive commercial transactions between system participants.
FoodCoin Ecosystem will include a hierarchical and customizable system for the data access and transaction processing. Each element of the FoodCoin structure represents a tool, organically linked with the rest of the platform, but capable of operating independently.
FoodCoin – bigdata and AI
The data collected and dynamically processed through FoodCoin Ecosystem will form the basis for AI analysis, allowing real-time dynamic communication to system participants and third-parties of information on price and availability changes for large categories of goods, linked to the climatic changes, geographical location, seasonality, etc.
In addition, the analysis of this aggregate information will assist with prediction of the prices for the forthcoming harvests, allowing producers, farmers and business consumers to plan for future.
FoodCoin for IoT
FoodCoin Ecosystem functionality will allow the use of the platform as an interface between users and for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as sensors, barcode scanners, or scales via open APIs. Such devices will become full-fledged parties of smart-contracts (Smaco), capable of initiating, confirming or canceling transactions. Smart contracts, guided by custom developed algorithms, can receive inputs and guidance from devices, and based on such inputs, will be able to initiate or cancel payments, refer transactions to arbitration of a third party, or perform other transaction-related tasks.
FoodCoin for social projects
Using FoodCoin as a complementary social currency in closed communities encourages the demand for locally produced goods and services, thus stimulating local economic activity.
